This is quite strange, because my unit saves Home location (in fact I am using it quite often) and favorites... Also 2D and 3D information. Try something: after setting the parameters as you like, get out of the program (Settings -> Exit) and let the program to reload. For sure it will save the configuration. I am doing this way to be sure. So, after each major change in settings, exit the program to be sure it saves the settings. Again, it is a software "problem", if you can name it that way. |

I didn't make photos. However I have photos of Comstorm's installation in Freelander. I have fixed C725 with the such way. I think you will understand all with these picters.

Plastic 5-inch tube's fittings was put to use for this installation. You can see it on first picture
C725 is fited on the nose. Maximum sizes for installation without major surgery are approximately 190x120 mm Freelander II 2,2 TD SE Stornoway Grey Sorry for my wry English. I began to study it recently. I'll be thankful for your corrections of my mistakes |

He uses the USB connections of the unit for updating maps and software.

I am curious too, because before buying the current navi unit I was looking for an integration of a similar device. I believe that Lar has used MortScript but maybe he will share in more detail some of his experiences. |
