I think (I'm away at the moment with out the car) but I think you can go into the service menu via the steering wheel controls to get the info you require. I changed from a TD4e to a MY13 late last year and was impressed with the new dash set up. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Thanks. Yes I like the newer dash. It's a real step forward.

I can get into that but it'll only show the VIN number and the last "alarm". Nothing about actual services. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE |

It's not greyed out on my car. I scroll down to it and press the "OK" button on the wheel and in there are two sub menus showing either the VIN number or the last "alarm" which in my case was trying to lock the car with the passenger door open.....apparently.

And as you can see in the photos above, there's no indication of how far to next service. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE |

It just won't let me enter into my service menu, I wonder why that's is. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

Engine needs to be off to access the service menu, so just press the start button without pressing pedals, to bring on all the dash electrics. The service option is then highlighted like the rest but you can only see the VIN and the last alarm. |

The owners manual states the mileage/time intervals for services so you can work it out otherwise the car will tell you 3 weeks out it's due for service.

I understood that the service interval was set, not by time and or distance but was set by the car monitoring the driving style and oil contamination levels......amongst other things.

Service interval is set by time/distance and oil contamination due to a certain amount of failed regeneration cycles of the DPF, whichever occurs first. MY15
