Haldex pulled off and oil and filter clean. I think it's never been used off road.

The haldex still operates, providing 4wd when you move off from a standstill and then backs off to virtually 2wd as speed increases so the clutches and oil still wear and degrade over time even if you don't actually select any terrain response modes. Never heard of this. I doubt it came from the factory like that, suspect its had a cv joint replaced at some stage with a non genuine part and a different sized nut. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Thanks for the reply Bobupndown. Did I bit of research and there were two nuts M24 x 1.5mm or M24 x 2mm. Looks like mine is the 2mm version but typically the Moog bearing I bought came with the 1.5mm version. Also looks like I ruined some threads hitting the end of the cv when getting it out of the hub. New challenge. Hopefully thread clean will work, fingers crossed. |

Hi Alfow, I had an abs fault and was due to the front bearing humming/needing replacing. Sent the special functions crazy also but it sorted it out. |
