bought these off the bay to see if they would perform and last better than the rubbish Halogen HB3 Bulbs

At that price it is worth a try, but my gut feel is that they will not be any good as it looks like the projector setup is based on a precise point source of light which is focused accordingly. If the light source is not in this precise position the light output will be poor & wrong.

This looks interesting, after driving my second vehicle with bi-xenons the standard lights look very dim.

I think these will be crap for beam spread and distance. The signature drls are super bright. Maybe activate you CCF so that the rear tail lights come on with drls. Like the signatures I don't think they will illuminate much distance wise. Then when it's dark you can use the HB3 halogen bulbs. Also turn auto lights off the bulbs last longer. |

They were really the 1st LED bulbs I'd seen for HB3 that weren't stupid prices.

I too found the halogen bulbs appalling so i fitted these

I wasted $60 buying some 5000 LM Leds with built in ballasts. They performed really well. Only problem was that I couldn't close the headlamp unit again - they were too long.

Andre Page replacement bulb (standard bulb) for just a few quid still bowling along.
