Hi, went to Ripon LR today to get some bits for my Defender and came out with a FL 2, how did that happen?
Fancied one for a while now and this one took my eye, it's only an entry level model but very nice motor, look forward to joining in the forum.

Just rolled home in my 2007 Freelander 2. I really love this car. Beige leather trim, privacy tinted windows. It has side steps - they make all the difference to the appearance in my opinion.

2nd time Freelander 2 owner. First one was a 2007 manual HSE and just returned to the fold with a 2008 Auto HSE (I like my creature comforts!)

Loving being back in the command driving position after slumming it in cars for a few years. First things up are 4 new tyres, tracking and possibly a Sat Nav update disc!

Hello to all, well I recently sold my Defender as I have an old injury that wasn't compatible with the limited driving position and after nearly thirty years of driving them I was sad to see it go. However after driving my wifes freelander 2 and the price of a disco 4 just out of reach I settled for a facelifted freelander 2 and I have to say I do like it alot. So now we have two freelanders on the drive and Im hoping I can get a multicar policy deal for my wife and I at renewal time. I'm keen to spend some time on individualising my truck as funds alllow. I'm looking at getting a hatchbag bootliner to protect the rear so if anyone has got one of these I would appreciate your view before I spend the money. I was running Cooper ST Maxx on the defender which never let me down off road in mud and snow so any advice on similar tyres would be great I will purchase a spare set of wheels to suit whether they be 17,18 or 19 inches. Have seen some Volvo wheels fitted with 255 rubber which I thought looked the business (in Finland I think). I look forward to using the forum with some liked minded people.

I got a boot liner soon after we got the Freelander and I've bought a dedicated set of winter wheels and tyres - I'll dig out the details when I have a spare minute as others might be interested in them too..............maybe I'll post them in another bit of this site - I haven't looked at the rest of it yet!

I've sold the Disco but I'm keeping the Defender 90 and now I'm about to pick up a new to me Freelander2 in the next few days, mainly for a bit more comfort on the longer journeys.

I am the owner of a Freelander 2 which I am pleased to say is probably the best car I have ever had. Added plenty of chrome looks good. Being in Australia I have to buy some of bling from UK, but its worth it. Looking forward to reading the blogs.

A couple of things i don't yet understand but i'm sure i'll get there

Hi everyone got my Freel2 Metro red 64 last week polished up lovely, only problem is its not stopped blooming raining since. On the positive side I love the car, lovely drive and the colour just keeps getting better, it really grws on you and puts a smile on your face . Would like to get a full size spare wheel and jack kit though, not sure about the tye filler kit.

Been an FL2 owner for a couple of years now (10 plate GS in Orkney Grey), but just traded up to a 63 plate XS in Aintree Green. Picking it up on Saturday morning and I can't wait!
