Hi All. Soon to become a Freelander 2 2007 HSE owner. Due on Monday or Tuesday, and our first Land Rover. Already had a good look at the site and downloaded the handbook PDF. I look forward to a long and happy association.

England 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Auto Fuji White

Hi everyone, I have just purchased a Freelander SD4 Sport in white, 2011.
Very nice for me and the driving position fine as I am small.
My hubby has had 5 LR's over the years, but now buys American 4x4's which swallow up ours over here.

I am sure I will be on here for advice from time to time.

Keep well
Joan x

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Firenze Red

just test drove a freelander 2 TD4 GSe (2012)

Lots could be said but as its 2012 maybe look for a MY13 model (2013) as it was a face-lift year. Is the "E" model only 2WD drive ?

Great cars but some do have issues so a good strong warranty may be best. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current

England

Evening all,

I will hopefully be the owner of a 57 plate XS by the weekend. I have been the owner of a Disco 2 TD5 for 7years but the old truck is getting a bit tired now. I would like to think I have some usefull info to share but sadly, at this early stage of FL2 ownership my knowledge is very limited so I may need a bit of advice at some stage. It is a Landy so I suspect at some stage, maybe definitely it will go wrong!

Regards to all.

Satch

Afternoon all.

Just picked up an HSE FL2 for the wife, but have had Land Rovers of all shapes and sizes for many years. Looking forward to getting the wife enthused enough to start getting some toys again!!

All the best
Adrian

HI CQR
We have some really nice Tarmac roads in our area, I bet you would find it much more fun driving around those
and parking in Tesco's car park, than scratching around in the mud, and then having to blast it all off
blocking the drains. lol

New Zealand 2008 Freelander 2 i6 S Auto Alaska White

Hi all,

New FL 2 owner. Ex-Japan I6 auto 2008, done 49,000 km for $20k NZ (roughly US$14k or UKPDS 10k). Replaces a 1999 Disco II with 350,000 km....

Already working on the no AM fault and will need to develop CCF edit skills to get FM to work above 90 MHz. And those running board have got to go as they pick up mud that's hard to avoid when exiting the vehicle!

Vehicle came with after market Pioneer AVIC-HRV002 nav unit under driver seat and Pioneer Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting (ISDB) GEX-P07DTV digital TV box bolted in under the passenger seat. Both completely useless in New Zealand.

Very pleased so far, a great improvement on the old Disco for on road manners! Photo's a bit redundant as everyone here knows what these things look like but forgive a new owner's enthusiasm.

PS I have a friend running his Giger counter over it to see if it glows in the dark.
