If you can get your arm in to the elbow then using something like your fishing rod, attach the key fob securely to the end and try pushing it into the dock. |

I seem to recal it takes a bit of pressure to push the fob in |

The alarm sensors (doors, boot, bonnet) goes to the CJB. Also the horns are controlled by the CJB.

They're supposed to stay on for a certain time (I forget how long). With the engine off pulling the stalk is similar to pressing the lighting button on the remote, except that only the headlights come on. They should go off after a minute or so. |

Not a bad idea for a FL2 - but climbing over the centre console on a RRS is not for the faint hearted ![]() Have you got sorted oldgeezer - if so how did you do it in the end ![]() Still hoping for a S2 one day! |

reverse is a good idea but suffering with rheumatoid arthritis its not really practical climbing over the centre consul.

The only other thing I can think of is some sort of sliding runners you could park on and slide the car sideways should you need to gain access to the passenger door - not sure what it would cost or if it could be done DIY - maybe some amateur welders on here could advise |

So in that moment when the alarm goes off if you press the key fob buttons there is no effect on the locks? It's good to know if so, because if this is the case, then it's really tricky to get in.... |

So, being in park is similar to having the handbrake on with the exception that the gearbox is locked too. You only have to drag it enough to get the front doors in the open so you can get to them, I can't see any damage being done dragging it a few feet slowly ![]() 2011 Full Fat RR 4.4 TDV8 2012 FL2 SD4 Auto HSE 2013 Kawasaki Versys 650 |
