Anything that could allow a potential thief to get in to the car without a key will be removed from the forum (not including the obvious forced entry methods )

I'm wondering that too. I've seen differing posts regarding sleep mode - one suggesting that it's after a week, another than it depends on whether the car is single- or double-locked, etc. Does anyone know definitively under what conditions sleep mode is initiated? And what is the best way of 'cancelling' sleep mode if the car is to be parked for a while - is it enough to unlock and lock it every few days? Or is it necessary to start the engine? |

I don't know how to wake it up or the exact layout of your property but can you get a trolley jack under the back end and drag it out or at least move it sideways enough to get to the passenger door?

I have never heard of this problem - I too park tight to passenger side in garage and would be unable to reach the manual lock if this happened - what a nightmare

happened to someone on here before , he resorted to jacking the rear of the car and pushing it sideways off the jack several times until it had wandered clear of the wall At work

is there a way to wake it by boosting the battery from the tow electrics, (thinking gone to sleep due to low battery) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I bought a charger for motorhomes, etc the first winter I had my RRS because it had summer tyres and I was using my fl1 during the bad weather but when I reads the instructions and saw I had to disconnect the battery to use it I didn't bother

If it is going to sleep in the garage due to voltage drop maybe the battery is not all it should be. I fitted an Exide heavy duty 85AH battery which holds its voltage well.

Thank you but. That topic has suggestions for flat battery. I am looking as to how to wake one up when its gone to sleep ! Slightly different scenario. I have had a new Landrover battery but. Still goes to sleep when left parked. |
