I can reverse out the garage with the mirrors out, but it's a lot safer to have them folded in.

It's a nice feature that if the mirrors are folded by choice via the buttons, then they remain folded when the car is next powered up. Otherwise I forsee regular and hefty bills for replacement wing mirrors.

Hello all....The maintenance guy put in a 45cm round convex mirror in the garage for me on the left hand side of the wall as i have to have the mirrors folded.
Nice vision to give me confidence when parking and reversing.

Just found the forum and had a good read.

Off to pick up our first 4x4 ever in a few minutes. Car is for the school run and for me to use when I need more space than my EOS has.

Cheers

Just to say hello. I have an FL2 which is based in Spain. Excellent so far after some 2000 Km. Just one problem in that one of the rear window regulators has had to to be replaced due to a very limited and reluctant action.

Hi All

Just wanted to say hello. Im looking to trade in my Golf GTI for a new FL2 GS just in a haggle on the price stage at the moment and trying to find a good price/helpful/not desperate dealer. Glad I've found a place with other like minded individuals. Cheers all

Speak with KAM100 on RRSPort.co.uk, he maybe able to help, Tim in Scotland can vouch for his deal on his range rover sport he just bought, Lives in Scotland bought from London, deal must have been something special (though i beleive he does lot of work in London area) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I contacted Kam and he did the footwork - Charles Hurst had the spec that I wanted in stock so they got the business. As I had been told that it would be 3-4months delivery and no discount on a factory order by a dealer of course it was good news, I also got a good price for my part-exchange and on the new car without having to traipse around dealers and haggling myself. I will do the same thing next time I buy a car. All I needed was a scanner for sending copies of documents and the time to go and collect the car. As NP says - I was able to arrange to collect it when I was on one of my monthly visits to London. If James can arrange it, then I will also try to get the car into them for it's 1st service if I can make it coincide with one of my trips to the City.

Jame's team at CH were a good team to work with, I have never had such a thorough hand over of a car - in all it took about 3 hours and they have been in touch since to check that everything is fine and have dealt with one item that has cropped up since, which was do with the car I traded in not the car I collected from them. I believe that Kam has handled a couple of other RRSport sales from Scotland and passed them to CH. Kam doesn't just deal with Land Rovers, he can deal with any make, but specialises in LR, Audi, BMW, Ford, Merc, Porsche and Mini. He can also do deals on commercial vehicles How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

Scotland 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Sumatra Black

Hi there. I have been mooching around this site for a wee while now and after much deliberation and test drives I eventually settled on a TD4 HSE which I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Really happy with it and looking forward to a bit of snow now! Woohoo!
