United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Thanks for the welcome Dave,

Its an HSE Auto in Stornoway grey with Ebony Leather. I love the way sunlight brings out the sparkles in the grey. Yes we did have Cool today!

The only additions I've made is side steps for access, clear repeaters and a Talex to help me stay legal Whistle

All the best Steve Thumbs Up Remenber, Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, love truely, laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that made you smile.

Hello, I've just bought a year-old (to be accurate, tomorrow, it was first registered 13th Dec 2006) FL2 TD4 HSE manual, in Sumatra Black, black leather, metallic trim & rear privacy glass, and comes with side steps, adaptive bi-xenons and an unused removable towbar & twin electrics.

Thanks for the welcome. Unfortunately I'll be away when that meet is on - it seems that Tim & I are practically neighbours.

I paid a deposit on the car yesterday and the dealer is getting the car serviced by a main LR dealer and I'll pay the balance and pick the car up at the weekend, hopefully.

The FL2 replaces a Saab 9-5 which my partner wrote-off together with a new caravan - not bad after less than 10 miles behind the wheel! The other car I'd shortlisted was an Audi A5 3.0 TDI quattro, then I woke up...

I've not replaced the caravan yet - will have to sit a towing test first, and not all partners are female...

simple mistake.....

as they said not all partners are female.........

I know, I was watching a program the other night and they all had wax dolls for partners at $5000 each.

Just proves you ( I ) should not jump to conclusions Rolling with laughter Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Firenze Red

Hi All
Just came across your forum this week by accident.
My previous Landies were:
three Discoverys
one modded V8 90
three Freelander Mk1

now just have a Freelander 2 GS - (very good so far - I can get all my dive gear in it unlike the previous FLs.), oh yes and a Skoda Fabia VRS (but thats a different story/forum).

Jules

That's me picked up the FL2 TD4 HSE and although it had its first service on Wednesday, at a main dealer, I've now got the "transmission fault - reduced traction" warning gremlin, which definitely wasn't there during Tuesday's test drive of the vehicle.

Having to take the car into the main dealer next Tuesday. Sad

But hopefully it'll just be a software fix.

Oh, and the car just fits into the garage: width is the issue.
