I can reverse out the garage with the mirrors out, but it's a lot safer to have them folded in. It's a nice feature that if the mirrors are folded by choice via the buttons, then they remain folded when the car is next powered up. Otherwise I forsee regular and hefty bills for replacement wing mirrors. |

Just to say hello. I have an FL2 which is based in Spain. Excellent so far after some 2000 Km. Just one problem in that one of the rear window regulators has had to to be replaced due to a very limited and reluctant action.

Just wanted to say hello. Im looking to trade in my Golf GTI for a new FL2 GS just in a haggle on the price stage at the moment and trying to find a good price/helpful/not desperate dealer. Glad I've found a place with other like minded individuals. Cheers all

I contacted Kam and he did the footwork - Charles Hurst had the spec that I wanted in stock so they got the business. As I had been told that it would be 3-4months delivery and no discount on a factory order by a dealer of course it was good news, I also got a good price for my part-exchange and on the new car without having to traipse around dealers and haggling myself. I will do the same thing next time I buy a car. All I needed was a scanner for sending copies of documents and the time to go and collect the car. As NP says - I was able to arrange to collect it when I was on one of my monthly visits to London. If James can arrange it, then I will also try to get the car into them for it's 1st service if I can make it coincide with one of my trips to the City.

Hi there. I have been mooching around this site for a wee while now and after much deliberation and test drives I eventually settled on a TD4 HSE which I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Really happy with it and looking forward to a bit of snow now! Woohoo! |

Hi DM Welcome to the forum, ask away if you have any questions? Nice choice, did you opt for the auto or manual, any extras added or thinking about and the big question which colour? npinks Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |
