Russia 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Stornoway Grey

About the script
I'm not a programmer too but I had been able to go into this matter. I used a MortScript in fact. I studied it with helping a russian site 4pda.ru I don't know whether there is any english analog. Here is this script
https://www.freel2.com/gallery/albums/userpics/11760/c725.zip
It switch off only the screen. C725 switches on itself when AC power is on.

I don't load unload SD card. For unlocking after hard reset I run Explorer and run MioAutoRun.mscr

Netherlands 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Biscay Blue

Hi Lar,
First of all thank you very much for je kind help.
Yesterday I received my 7 inch navigation device. No mio but from a chinese brand. Very cheap and with thousands functions. (Video, TV, IGo8 etc).

http://www.navaudio.nl/products/7-inch-Ful...cherm.html (only 249 Euro's)

This device will not startup on AC so I have to hard wire the connector. That is a bit of of a disappointment, since I need to install a small push button.
However I opened it and that is very simple to do. Furthermore there is also an integrated car kit. Since the mic is behind the dash and the speaker as well it I need to buy another mic and speaker. I noticed that it is very easy to connect another mic and an other small speaker (just a matter of cutting the wires and connect other hardware (that will cost something like 30 euro's.

Today I installed it in order to look at the fit and it it fits Smile tomorrow I will hard wire the connectors, the mic and the new speaker and will post some pictures.

regards,

Robbert

This is a rip-off...
I've bought the same unit from a Chinesse supplier (Kaliho) and I've paid for it 151 USD (approx. 110 Euros), shippment (DHL) and delivery to my door included. In this price was included a 2GB SDCard also.
The payment was made through PayPal and in less than a week the unit was on my table, directly from China.

PS Comstorm 7 is the device based on MIPS processor.

The 735 measures 196mm x 105mm with a curved edge to it. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
I might have to get one to try it..? what would be involved on the width to get it to fit..?

Thanks

I've just ordered one. Will post after I try to fit it next weekend. My concern is that all the connector fit at the edges and so may be impossible to fit to freelander Sad

Hi Darrellr
I was looking into get this as well,my local dealer pentagongps in sheffield keep saying that they are going to get one in stock so that I can have a look at it but no joy so far.I'll let you be the guinea pig then.

The brackets are just 5" pipe brackets,I think you should be able to track them down ok,I work in the woodworking industry and they are used for dust extraction purposes

Hi Guys,

I'm really upset down Big Cry because of my unit didn't work with gps. I'm absolutely sure that It has got a program error, some files may be erased or the I brokedown it for electronically When I'm doing reset.I tried many things that recover the unıt but it didn't fix. Maps and programs are working well but the unıt doesn't recognize the GPS port,I tried to tune it by manually (select on prgram gps port and baud rate) or automatically but it failed,it didn't show me coordinates, altitude longitude.
I wrote Annzeng ( Chineese seller) for this problem, but she doesn't understand english. Her english worse than mine, she couldn't solve my problem or give an option for change or repair. The other function of unit is working perfect. It really plays the music and videos(avi files- even driving- very well,Bluetooth is not necessary for me but it is working too, even I may listen to music via bluetooth but the quality is very poor than sd card's.
Perhaps I will try to repair it,finally have you got an brilliant ideas.

Thanks alot for your ideas Idea

England

The only advice I can give is don't buy cheap chinese crap, stick to well known names such as alpine or kenwood, In England we have a saying-"You get what you pay for".
