Hi folks, just to introduce myself as a new Member. Have ordered a black freelander diesel auto for September delivery, so will just have to wait, excitedly, for the next six weeks or so. However, a couple of things I have noticed re this vehicle - there is no footrest for the left foot, although the area is carpeted - wellies covered in coo poo will not do much for this. I can remedy it with a dod of lino, but a factory fitted footrest, as I have in my Suzuki Vitara TD Auto, would have been nice. Secondly, the rear luggage cover does not lift as the tailgate opens. This would have been useful. Looking forward to contributing more (positive) comments, once the vehicle is delivered. Regards. |

yea its a bit like that... but i have to enjoy my golf GTI while I can. Main aim of the F2 is the fact that a GTI really doesnt like towing a 1600kg yacht!!! |

I collected my FL2 TD4 SE Auto on 31st July and took off to North Wales for a family wedding (& to run it in!). First impressions are very favourable. It's quieter and smoother than I expected from a new vehicle, and just as zippy as I'd hoped!
