1. How do you change/update the maps?
Did you used some cable extender from the unit's SD-card slot to a more accesible location or do you have to remove the dash to do it?

2. Do you have an IGO8 version that knows a REAL 800x480 resolution? By real I mean a version that exploits the 800x480 resolution to its full capability and not one that runs, lets say, 480x272 on a 800x480 resolution.
If yes, where did you find it? Can you post a link?

3. What do you mean by "bad works" when referring to Garmin? It's slow, isn't it?

Thanks!

1. I have leaded both USB plugs in the glove box

One is for connection a USB Flash, other one is for a PC. I'm using for a update installed programms and the maps only the plug for the USB Flash with the Total Commander.
2. The resolutions of all used programms are 800x480 (I think so in any case). Unfortunately I haven't been able to make the printscreen of IGo8. You can find Igo8 and other nav programms on 4pna.com or 4pda.ru. But both sites are Russian. I can help you them to read or send you my version of IGo on e-mail.
3. I don't know how it speaks correctly English. The Garmin programm is "breaking down" at some items. Are you see me? How do I speak English right this term?

I'm waiting for other questions

I want to known more information
The screen size fits the hole of the dashboard, or the screen is bigger than the hole in the dashboard.
I want to known the exact measurements of the screen, not the entire devices (23 x 182 x 123)
Another question is how do you shut down your browser when you turn off the car?
I want to install Mio V735 but i think that the format screen (panoramic) is bigger than C720.
Thank you

The screen size of Mitac Mio C725 is little more than the hole in a dashboard (approximately 1-2 mm) but it isn't visibly and don't disturb. I'll make a photo of the screen with Total Commander that you will be able to look at it.
I had rasped the gadget a little on corners for good fitting.
The device is shut down with a script. I had changed a genuine soft shell with MortScript. Additionally the script says me 'Good morning' and 'Good bye'.

Turkey 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Hi,
I'm from the Turkey , my Rover is Freelander 2 HSE model.
I bought it last summer,I bought a new Touch screen GPS unit for the freelander 2 from the ebay.uk,it cost 500 pound.
İt's 7 inch touch screen unıt,I installed it on my freelander 2 last saturday ,it's very lovely but ı have a problem with it, I can not coupling it my cell phone,Nokia N82 recognize it's name of ONTOPAAT but it requires password, what is the password unit?I tried million possibilities, for example:0000,00000000,1111 etc.
But it doesn't accept it!
And the other problem is;I didn't install Turkey maps properly. But I investigate it. İt's Gps program's name is PolNav,I found the map of Turkey but it needs to registration,ı think I will do it. I'm sure .
If anyone help me to resolve the Bluetooth problem ?
Then I will send you my opinions and using the unit specification, thanks a lot.

What navigation software did you tried to use?
I am using on my unit a Sygic navigation software, version 7.50.
For this (Sygic) there is a serial number generator used for registering maps.

I think we use same chinese product, how did you load a new program on it?
Because there are two different programs on orijinal sd card, one of them is Navione and the other PoLNavR5_UK.
Navione folder contains Navione exe. and this file runs all the polnav program. The programs contains UK map,ı changed the map ansd use some crack files but the registrations failed?
How did you load a new program?

I haven't bought a navigation program together with the unit.
The unit came only with some chinese navigation software, something like Careland.
It seems that you have on your unit a specific navi software, PolNav....

Regarding how I loaded a new program:
My unit seems to be programmed to automatically load a program named NAVI.EXE (not navione.exe, like you said it is on yours - or was a mistake Question ) from a folder named NAVIONE.
In other words, it automatically launches: \SDCARD\NAVIONE\NAVI.EXE
So, by renaming the main executable of the Sygic software (Drive.exe) to NAVI.EXE and by renaming the main folder from SYGIC to NAVIONE, the unit launches the navigation software without problems and all works OK.

Are you sure? It isn't Navi.exe ?

I would really like to take a look at your card. Could you send me a dump of a DIR command of your sdcard?
Thank you in advance.
If you don't know how to do this, here is the procedure:
- Run a command prompt session: Start - Run and on Open field write "cmd" (without quotes) and hit enter.
- Supposing that SDCARD is drive D:, then on the command prompt window, write: dir /s d:\*.* >c:\result.txt
- Send me the c:\result.txt file.
Thank you!
