My seat is definately dropping now, but i've been so happy with the car generally that I thought i'd wait until it's next service is due. That's about 8000 miles yet so i'd guess 3 months approx but it does seem to be getting worse...is it a long job to have done if you can get an acceptance of fault in the first place? If it's say, an hour, I may be tempted to have a pop at getting it done sooner than later.

call land rover customer services, tell them its not good enough, and not fit for purpose, this is what i did, after one base change, the electric one went in and resolved the issue, dont take no for an answer, they were great, apart from asking to take a pic of me sat in the drivers seat! Anyhoo off oot on me mobike..... |

I had that, found out there is a slight flaw in the design location of the handle, every time I get out my thigh catches it and pushes it down every so slightly and that over time it does lower the seat! |
