No that isn't the issue. It happens when I am working on site driving over bumpy ground. Thanks for trying.

However; upon reflection, this may be the issue. When I am on site, I also get in and out a lot more? I tried a test of driving around over bumps to see what happened, and the evidence was inconclusive. I'm on to LR customer services, because either way it is not fit for purpose.

i found out by driving a 2 and half hour trip up to northumberland.

I'm sure mines going down ! has anyone got any land rover info on this problem as the dealer and customer service are denying any problems with it?? Thanks. |

A nice guy from the German LR-Forum has made a simple and easily removable blocker for the height-adjustment of the seat. He was so friendly to offer this gadget for little money to co-suffering GS-Drivers Scroll down a little bit after opening the link and you will see the pics

LR dealer who done my last service placed a small section of wood wrapped in gaffer tape under the handle...at first I thought it just improved the dropping issue, but since i've not bothered to take it back in for some time I have to confess to the problem being cured. I haven't pumped the seat back up for thousands of miles and I use it off road on stubble fields etc. as well.

UPDATE : Well it started going down as predicted! So they are finally supplying and fitting the Hybrid seat! Hopefully that will do the trick! Anyone got any pics of what this seat looks like?? Cheers!! |
