Ironically ggb we bought the Europe upgrade but it failed to upload properly. I was told that to rectify the problem we needed to upload the road map for Turkey which we did and there's been no issue with it since.

My mapping updates go on my Garmin Zumo595LM which is free and lifetime. I suction cup it to the bottom right of the windscreen if I want to go anywhere unknown. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE |

I would refer you to Kae Otics post on the 5th Feb....it depends on whether you have a permanent failure or not?

Hi Farmer, thanks for the reply (?) but I don't have a failure, just want to update my maps with the latest - new roads and roundabouts etc.

I just installed the 2020 update because I was fed up with the ‘new’ M1/A14, A1/A14 and M1/A50 junctions appearing as ‘off road’. The update was very smooth but I had to wait ages after buying the disks until I was going on a 3hr journey! The file copy part of the update took the best part of three hours, but it wasn’t until I’d parked, switched off everything, waited ten minutes, and then restarted the engine, that the update was completed. This was exactly as per the supplied instructions. Potted LR history since 1990:

That is good to know Phil that it all works ok now then. Mine wouldnt load from my usb plug in the car, it crashed a couple of times tbh. The gararge have recommended fitting a new USB hub so we are hoping that will cure it! |

It should be okay - If you are looking to load to 2019/2020 version this must be the DVD which seems to be the final DVD version, the latest (and probably final) USB version is the 2020/2021 version.
