They are a sought after car, here's about 675 advertised at the moment, just be quick, https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-search?po...amp;page=1 PS I think that the late model SD4s are best. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011) FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015) Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History (Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?) |

Thanks, a bit too expensive for me. The maximum I can afford is around £14,000. The problem is that although there's loads around it's getting to them. The nearest one I can find at the moment is in Newport, Gwent. The problem there is the local covid lockdown, I don't think 'buying a car' is considered a reasonable excuse to enter the area. Still at least it won't get sold. |

Thanks Ian, I'm concentrating on HSE, HSE Lux, or Metropolis. 2013 or later. I guess it will spend most of its time on the road (although some round here have grass down the middle) but I'd love to do some off roading in it. Neve really got the chance in the Jeep. |

I bought my 14 plate, absolutely mint dynamic TD4 (with lots of nice added options - nothing the HSE or HSE lux has that I want & don't have) for under 13k around Feb this year - and that was from a dealer - no way on earth that other is worth 23k 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Dynamic

Oh! and I also came from Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7l with Quadradrive - it had awesome power and was great until someone wrote it off by pulling out of a side street right into its side

Harwoods Group have a couple on 14/64 plates at just under/over the £15k mark although they're in SW London area so perhaps too far off for you, especially in present climate? |

This is a wise piece of advice. My original XS spec FL2 came with Leather Memory Seats, 19 inch Diamond Wheels, Spoiler, Tinted Glass, etc. There are lots of FL2s out there with many factory fitted extras. As most dealers sell on 'badge' you can, if lucky' get an 'upgraded' bargain. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011) FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015) Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History (Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?) |

But no two Metropolis cars were actually the same - as the run out model, whatever came out of the high spec parts bin was fitted |

Hi everyone, just became a new member, picking up my 13 plate Freelander this afternoon, leaving my 53 Discovery 2 ES behind. Looking forward to driving the next machine, and towing my twin axle caravan. |

Whilst the FL2 is a good vehicle, you will miss your D2. I had a very early D2 'S' plate loved every minute of it. |

Welcome. Funny, just yesterday I was wishing I still had my TD5 Disco 2 XS as I needed to take a door up to Yorkshire - it wont fit in the FL2 Jules |
