Hi all, just joined. I have had a freelander 1 for the last 10 years. Just swapped it for a Freelander 2, Td4e 2010 HSE. High miles @153k, so a big service to do. Looking on the site for hints, tricks and help.

Hi, I'm Roy, I don't own a Freelander (yet) but am looking to move on from my 225k Miles Skoda Octavia to a FL2 very soon. I previously 93-96 owned a Isuzu Trooper 3.1TD Van which I regret selling and want to get back into a 4x4.

Morning. My name is Louis and I am an owner of 2009 Freelander 2 model. I have a terrain response failure message on the display with yellow triangle and special programs off. Sometimes I get a clicking, grinding noise coming from the front when driving. Any guidance to resolve this will be appreciated. |

Hi Hoppo just in case you don’t know the key charges while driving but the button side needs to be pointing up towards the screen |

Yeah thanks, I knew that, that's why I'm thinking the second fob may have been the spare and just needs to be used in the vehicle to recharge it, dont know how long that takes, so taking both fobs out with me at the moment and putting the flat one in the slot whilst driving. Otherwise it's getting a replacement, I've seen links on here where someone rebuilds them. |
