I found this forum looking for info on my wifes second freelander 2. It's a 2014 HSE Lux SD4 and very nice it is too.

Our first is a 2007 HSE TD4, previously we had 2 freelander 1s both 1.8 petrol HSEs and before that I had a Landrover 80 1952 with a Rover V8.

I have enjoyed reading lots of threads gaining much usefull information, also selling our trusty HSE.

Hi just joined - former D3 owner thinking of going slightly greener with an FL2.. on the hunt..

I've really enjoyed the forum on this site and taken some great information that has assisted me with my FL2 My11 2.2 TD4 Manual journey. I'm swapping out my ride for a Disco Sport next weekend due to work related requirements (can't have a car over 9 years old to be eligible for the allowance). The FL2 has served me well for the 235,000 klms so far and I'm really sad to see her go.

I've done the services myself and gained so much info from this site and hope I also gave a little back. I plan to stay around and assist where I can.

ive recently jioned in the freelander 2 ownership.
very much liking it so far, mines in the fastest colour - black, manual
doesnt need for much except gear knob and gaiter are worn and nearside front tyre will need replacing soon. then im on the look out for a towbar as i seem to have found the only FL" without one fitted and im enjoying reading about all the posts for modifications or repairs

Hi all, just joined this site and we have just, yesterday, purchased our first Freelander it's an 09 HSE two owner model with full service history and in very nice condition and we will be taking delivery this Saturday, can't wait
We hope to learn a lot about these cars on this forum

and somone has already upgraded the front bumper/grill and the boot handle for the later model versions.

Had our 2008 Freelander 2 HSE for around 4 months now, typical LR, cost us £1500 to get it into shape, fingers crossed now that it runs for a while without any more cost. Just wanted to join the forum to share our pain with fellow Freelander owners.

Hello,just bought my first Landrover Freelander 2 2007 model
No real problems at al,except radio and navigation start up is hit and miss.
I do have only one key fob and would like to get another and spare but dealers want over £300 for one!!!!Looking forward to getting help if needed,just going to service it first with new filters etc and look into diff oil service.

Hello, been lurking for a while, despite owning a Freelander for the last 7 years......never had it go wrong, so have never bothered to sign up until today. Nothing wrong with it now, just thought that I would kick off 2020 by being a bit more sociable!
