Wife had to go out last night and given the snow forecast she took the FL2. We live at the end of an unmade up lane with various sloping parts and she got back OK with a couple of inches of snow but there is a steep bit at the top of our drive and she abandoned the car just outside the gate rather than risk sliding into the stone pillars as the car was "sliding around a bit and making juddering noises". I went out and put it in snow mode and went very slowly and with chattering noises from the traction control it came down the drive totally under control. ( HDC would have been too fast) You don't need these capabilities very often but it's nice to know that it's available when you do. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Replaced the Bosch Aerotwin wiper blade rubbers with refills, lot cheaper than buying replacement blades.

Left it at home on the charger π. Went to a farm off the A19 in my Scooby . The side roads and farm tracks were compacted snow . But the point of this post . The First real test of the Bridgestone A005 Weather Control. An absolutely excellent tyre , they have impressed on the dry , in torrential rain and now ice and snow . Donβt be afraid to try them . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
