If you put OXR1 into the MOT website it comes up as a green 14 reg LandRover FL2 with 26k miles at last MOT.

That's not the one that he pranged. OXR 1 is the Balmoral/Windsor vehicle. The Reg for that one that rolled yesterday was OE63 OGX, and was indeed a MY14 HSE in Aintree Green, registered January 2014.

The reason that it has an Revenue Weight of 2505kg is to take into account all the bullet-proof glass and armour in the door cards, floor pan etc. etc...

My revenue weight is also 2505kgs. Must check for any body armour Whistle

Drove by the crash scene today and saw news trucks all over the place.
In the FL2 and a few cameras turned on me Laughing

looking at the diagram of what supposedly happened, I can't grasp how a KIA can flip a 2½ ton Freelander through the air to point the other way . . .

Just watching this as the main news at 10 Rolling Eyes

What I can’t understand is at any accident, why they can’t pick up all the pieces of the wrecked cars, a shovel and spade should surface, but no, they leave a load of glass, wingmirrors bumpers etc to lay there for years to come

Police will clear any hazards off the carriageway, most traffic patrol vehicles will carry a brush for this purpose, an ordinary police response vehicle does not carry one. It is for road service / council to maintain and clean the road surface.

(To me the car in the photos looks green, not blue? Perhaps the lighting?)

Just heard on radio it’s a 60mph road and by coincidence the local council are meeting today to debate lowering the limit and installing speed cameras.
