Fitted a Heatshot unit. I know there are many on here who don’t see the point, but now that the price is reasonable (a third of what it was at Christmas!), I’ve decided to give it a try. I’m hoping it will clear the bugs better through the summer and then really earn it’s corn once the frosts are back. 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

New oil and filter, interesting to note how much extra oil came out of the sump plug once the seal on filter was removed so it seems worth while keeping the plug out until filter is coming off.

Toris, not being critical but the recommended hand position on the wheel is 9 & 3 these days, due to possible injury when the airbag deploys. I understand it is something that the driving test examiners look out for.

Just back from a fishless week on the river Thurso in Costa del Caithness. No rain for nearly 2 months and the river showing its bones. Notwithstanding, the car behaved impecabley over the 1400 plus mile journey at c35mpg over motorway, single track A roads (I kid you not) and some off road work getting to the river. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.
