Its amazing what you find. Did mine a couple of months ago, haven't done the haldex yet, done all the others though. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !

gonna wait next year then remove haldex completly for strip down and clean |

had a good look and found no metal, oil was just black thankfully |

Back in the 70's and 80's I changed diff and gearbox oils on things like Morris Marina, Ford Escort etc and the oil was always clean despite the mileage. So what's going on here to get the oil in this state ? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

what can turn diff oil black, was to level and only 75k miles
