Just a quick hello from me. I've recently upgraded to a Freelander 2 so though this forum would come in handy. The username comes from my first Land Rover, 110 V8, and the name has stuck for forum use. I've had 110 v8, Disco V8, 2 Freelander 1's and now this Freelander 2.

I bought a 2010 HSE TD4 auto for my wife, to replace her aging Rav-4 back in March. And so far, I am very impressed with it!! It's comfortable to drive, very well equipped and feels pretty solid.....

I thought it was about time I signed up to your forum, as I have visited following a few internet searches relating to the old DAB/digital radio issue; and more recently how to replace the Aux-In socket.

I'm really into my cars and also have a R172 Merc SLK350, along with a Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo. I never really drove the Rav much, but now we have the FL2, I'm just as happy taking it on weekend trips as I am with the other cars.

New member here Just got my first Freelander. MY14 GS Premium Edition TD4 with 7k on the clock in Fuji white. My brother had it from new but has just replaced it with a disco 4. So I've had this off him.

Love it so far. It was purchased after our parents bought the same car in 2013 which we were all very impressed with right from the off.

I have a Discovery 3 commercial for work and looking at getting a Freelander 2 for the girlfriend when she sells her current caddy. So thought id join here to get pointers what to look out for common faults service history etc and what models spec et is best to go for

Just traded my range rover l322 hse in for a freedlander 2. now the kids have left home etc and i don't need such a big car. loved every minute of owning the full fat rr, even pulling the transmission out and rebuilding it!
This is my first freelander 2, I used to have a freelander 1 V6 until someone ran into the back of it and wrote it off. That was a great car so the fl2 was an obvious choice.
Now I've driven the new one the next job was to get registered on this site. fullfatrr has some really helpful members and martin does a great job with the admin. It's been really useful over the years.

Hi, a bit about me.

Just bought the Fl2 (all my previous LR vehicles had leaf springs) and really like it. After some years of paying the tax and using company vans and recently Ford Rangers they decided I had to have a Hilux with speed restrictor, reduced power, GPS tracking, continuous recording cameras and driving style monitor that e. mail's my boss if I do something it don't like . Yes, I became rapidly p*****d off with this so found a nice Td4e in bali blue and bought it.
