Thanks Scientist....to be honest I could have purchased an evoque for the same money albeit slightly higher mileage but I do prefer the higher driving position and ultimately the shape of the FL2. We do get overly concerned with MPG but .....its no more than a cheap meal out each month.....and importantly......we are only on the planet once!!....rgds. |

Hope you are very happy with your HSE. It's a great spec. I am on my third Freelander2. They are great cars with long range visibility on the motorway. Freelander 2 Metropolis 64 in Loire Blue with Ivory Windsor Leather. Previously Range Rover Evoque PureTech for 3weeks. Freelander2 XS and Freelander2 S. |

Hi Guys, I've just joined the ranks of Freelander owners, and, while new here I have had a fair bit of experience trialing older Landrovers. I've owned a couple of series threes, three Range Rover Classics and a Disco in the past.

Currently driving a 54 Plate Freelander TD4 but now needs replacing and thinking of going for FL2. Previously owned a Range Rover Vogue but do a lot of pulling my daughters pony about now. Also looking at L200 Warriors and Navarara's if anyone has any advice. |

Hi folks My name is Rich, this looks like a pretty good forum to belong to, I have just purchased a. 2010 FL2 Td4 HSE with extra toys added from factory, and I am well looking forward to enjoying it. My last Landy was a 90 defender with a 3 Ltr Perkins engine, chassis lift, rock sliders etc etc, well good off road, however this one won't be doing the same as the defender. |
