Hi I am on my third Freelander 2. Great long range visibility on the motorway. Good elevated driving position. Bought a top of the range Metropolis nearly 2 months ago. It has every extra. Privacy glass, reversing camera,Ivory Windsor leather and Loire Blue metallic. Beautiful and smart car. There is nothing not to love about the Freelander 2. Freelander 2 Metropolis 64 in Loire Blue with Ivory Windsor Leather. Previously Range Rover Evoque PureTech for 3weeks. Freelander2 XS and Freelander2 S. |

It's nice to hear from another lady Freelander enthusiast. I am on my third Freelander. Fantastic cars. We are doing the Landrover off road experience in October at Skipton . My husband has a Freelander and so does my father in Law. Great cars. Good luck with your new car, not that you will need luck. My first one was a 2007 model. Bought from a farmer. It was a mess inside. Got it cleaned by a professional mobile valet company. Did 27000 miles without issue or problem until I swapped it for a newer one. Freelander 2 Metropolis 64 in Loire Blue with Ivory Windsor Leather. Previously Range Rover Evoque PureTech for 3weeks. Freelander2 XS and Freelander2 S. |

Spent alot of time reading this forum prior to making a decision on whether or not to purchase an FL2 or an XC60. Prior to this I had 3 x 3 series Bmws (don't hate me!) which were notoriously bad in the snow. Recently purchased a white 2013 SD4 Dynamic with 17k ...white isn't a colour I would normally go for but personally think it looks great on this model. Still getting to grips with all the gizmos - never had an auto....but love this one exceptionally smooth and well geared. The handling is far better than I expected despite some minor body roll.....but it always feels safe. 32MPG around town...but is there anything this heavy, this shape and this capable that can do better?...do about 6k a year so its about 5 pints extra a month over my previous car. Was somewhat worried about reliability issues but generally....they've been ironed out...(haven't they)??. Anyway nice to get on here at last.
