United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Loire Blue

I am on my third Freelander2; I have improved the model and spec each time. I find the cars to be reliable and fabulous to drive with the high driving position and long range visibility for Motorway driving. I drive 300 miles a week just to work and back mostly on motorway. These cars command respect from other drivers. I am sure you will be happy with your new car. Freelander 2 Metropolis 64 in Loire Blue with Ivory Windsor Leather. Previously Range Rover Evoque PureTech for 3weeks. Freelander2 XS and Freelander2 S.

Thanks Scientist....to be honest I could have purchased an evoque for the same money albeit slightly higher mileage but I do prefer the higher driving position and ultimately the shape of the FL2. We do get overly concerned with MPG but .....its no more than a cheap meal out each month.....and importantly......we are only on the planet once!!....rgds.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Tambora Flame

Hello

First Landrover - First post on the forum. Have been lurking for a couple of months. Loving my Tambora Flame SE Tech.

I couldn't believe the condition of it when I took it for a test drive. Only a couple of minor rattles in the front doors need a bit of attention, and a few subtle mods on the way - darker rear tint, black vents/grill. Will keep the gallery updated as stuff gets done.

Ian

Hope you are very happy with your HSE. It's a great spec. I am on my third Freelander2. They are great cars with long range visibility on the motorway. Freelander 2 Metropolis 64 in Loire Blue with Ivory Windsor Leather. Previously Range Rover Evoque PureTech for 3weeks. United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

Hi Guys, I've just joined the ranks of Freelander owners, and, while new here I have had a fair bit of experience trialing older Landrovers. I've owned a couple of series threes, three Range Rover Classics and a Disco in the past.
The Freelander is our family car though and wont be trialing.. (unfortunately) Twisted Evil
So I'm about to venture, again, into the world of lock failures and window failures, lol.. Martin, (G0JCN)

Potential new owner

Currently driving a 54 Plate Freelander TD4 but now needs replacing and thinking of going for FL2. Previously owned a Range Rover Vogue but do a lot of pulling my daughters pony about now. Also looking at L200 Warriors and Navarara's if anyone has any advice.

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Hi folks My name is Rich, this looks like a pretty good forum to belong to, I have just purchased a. 2010 FL2 Td4 HSE with extra toys added from factory, and I am well looking forward to enjoying it. My last Landy was a 90 defender with a 3 Ltr Perkins engine, chassis lift, rock sliders etc etc, well good off road, however this one won't be doing the same as the defender.

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Fuji White

Just been to collect my new Car, Freelander2 S TD4 in Fuji White;

No doubt the next few days will bring loads of questions and answers about the car as I start to get used to it, In the distant past I had a Ford LWB Maverick, I am also the (possibly mad) owner of a 1969 Rolls Royce.

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Galway Green

Hi everyone,

I've had a couple of defenders over the last few years so not new to land rovers but i'm currently searching for a Freelander 2 as they seem ideal for longer drives in comfort but still very capable offroad when i need it! I currently own a toyota hilux pickup which has sat at a main dealer for 6 months (what a joke!) awaiting a new gearbox which they don't have in stock!!

Hugh
