I'm doing the least favourable driving for economy - short trips, stop/start traffic and all CBD mileage and I'm avg 9.6l/100 which is about 30mpg. You'd have to be driving like your on drugs to get into low 20's and I would suggest there is a problem! As I've only done 5300km I'm guessing the engine is still quite tight and this figure will still improve!

As I've said many times before on this forum, don't buy an FL2 if you are worried about MPG. Unless you are doing a huge mileage the cost of extra fuel is irrelevant to cost of ownership. So, just out your foot down....and enjoy this fabulous car! |

For average fuel your 35 on a manual is good. For real world driving in an auto expect 32. If you constantly use command shift you can expect 34. |

I can't get anywhere close to the figures some of you guys are getting, attached is from the RoadTrip app and the best was from a couple of fairly long trips mostly at 50 due to road works.

From my 2008 HSE auto with 77k miles up I get nowhere near what some others get. 28 is normal, with many short runs and a steep hill to negotiate on a cold engine every time I leave the village. Low to mid 30s on longer runs, mid 20s with the caravan hooked up. Local driving on Cornish lanes and hills isn't great for fuel economy. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

Been on a 92 mile trip today which was very hilly, a lot of 'short' shifting and hardly any flat road.
