That sounds about right to me I get slightly more sometimes and less others. Anything close to 40 is pretty good considering it's not too far off 2 ton and 4 wheel drive. Regards

Well Iam very pleased with the mpg of my car. Before I got it people were telling me the were very bad on fuel... But there again they had never owned one. For a big car I think it's really good. |

Drove from my campsite (without caravan) to Brest about 100 miles , sitting at about 68 mph I got 41.5 mpg , the road was pretty flat , ever other motorway dual carriageways in Brittany are pretty hilly and I only get 37 mpg. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

Driving from Scotland to Dover and indicated 40.1, which equated to a brim to brim of 38.7, from Dunkeque onwards it dropped down to an indicated 36.0. The first car that has never bettered its MPG figures in hotter climes, perhaps it doesn't like continental diesel which is much more yellow than ours. On arrival in Dover on the way back it dropped to an indicated 35.9 and rose to 36.1 back in Scotland on French Carrefour fuel. Normally it runs on Shell regular, also known as Waitrose supermarket fuel my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Well, a 150 mile round trip including city centre Manchester, Huddersfield and some steep hills in between: 49.6mpg! It did hit 50 at one point...
