Took young Taz out to the park so she could ride around, car looked gorgeous when we returned with the sun shining on it.

When I see the bike rack on the back I assume you mean "ride around on the bike" ....... not the FL2 Laughing

Looking nice n sparkly, that colour really does catch the sun Thumbs Up

Btw, what bike rack do you use and where does it locate?
Oh, and can you still access the tailgate when fitted?

Hi Ron, the bike rack is an old strap on I have had for years, it simply hooks over the tailgate top and bottom and the straps pulled tight, the lower arm sits on top of the tailgate handle so that is bearing some weight.
The picture doesn't show that, it had been slackened off and appears lower, if it sits on the handle it is clear of the number plate and lights.
Yes the tailgate will open with it in place Thumbs Up

Scotland 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Zermatt Silver

Wow, that red colour is stunning, looks fantastic, I've recently bought a Freelander HSE in Silver, it's in great condition, swirl marks, but I suppose after 55,000 miles it will have some.

I need to get mine polished up, after I've replaced the washer on the front bumper, parked up,earlier and caught it on the fence and broke it off Big Cry
Are they expensive and easy to fix?

Mr. Green

Morris, I don't think the washers are expensive, Dan at Duckworths will help you out, or ask on the forum, silver looks good when polished up, my previous car was Silver.
Have a look at Carlack LongLife, it's an acrylic paint sealer, really brings out the silver flakes Thumbs Up

When will I learn to keep the winters on into April! Took them off a week ago, so this morning it's like this.

Spring in the Pennines! GG ATs coped perfectly, though, with no spinning or sliding at all. Impressed.

A little trip over the Wrynose and Hardnott passes today. Unfortunately the dog wasn't too impressed and threw up in the back, thank goodness for the loadspace liner!

The passes are great for the Freelander, effortless.
There is one section where the HDC can be used, just to practice its use if nothing else.
Plenty of great opportunities for photo's too Thumbs Up
