There is an HSE Lux for sale on a 15 plate with just 300 miles on it, for £7k off list (£42k), which is an unheard of discount where LR are concerned.

I've been divng one myself for 3 days now as a loan car while my freelander is in the dealers. Don't like the low driving position, drives like a car, the drivers seat is uncomfortable, the finish is a lot better on the dash / doors but the on screen graphics are really naff pictures, power boot is great, front air bag on the bonnet is a bit odd, crap centre arm rest, my 2 boys love it (12 & 9)..... Looking forward to mine back . I thought I'd really like it when they pulled up in it but it's too like a car and not 4x4 / landrover enough for me . Anyone else had one for a few days ?

Saw my 1st out in the wild (well M&S car park to be precise) and didn't initially recognise it. Noticed the colour initially (Corris which I like) and when it parked up the front end gave it away. Funnily enough it parked between an Evoque and Disco both in grey so had something to compare against.

I had one overtake me slowly on the A9 so got a good look at it. Just very bland. Too curvy. I love the FL2 and Disco shapes so sad to see them go. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

There isn't a lot of DSs on the road at the moment due to the second row seating latch problems, but they are starting to leave the showrooms in there droves.

I saw 2 in uddingston yesterday with 5 mins of each other. I saw a black one, it was coming towards me at a T junction , the thing I noticed first and I didn't like it ( never noticed on any othe DS , must have been because the car was black) was that it said discovery on the bonnet in what seemed like a huge "font" , it kinda stuck out like a sore thumb. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

Sounds like DS spotting is the new sport. I wonder if there is an Ian Allan spotters book coming out soon? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Actually I think that the later facelift FL1 was a really good looking car and looked more like a proper off roader with spare wheel on boot etc. Doesn't drive as well as a an FL2 though. Nostalgia isn't what it used to be ..... 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

It's a slightly narrower font, though the same size as at the moment, which will eventually appear throughout the range 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |
