Not a fan of the DS but I agree with Ron personally I feel they look better with the black back!

The DS has the worst rear lights in the industry, style over substance, the reverse lights are pathetic far too small, I've upgraded the bulbs to LED which has made a slight improvement.

That's a shame! I have to give you credit for your honest review! Personally for me when I see the DS I get the feeling it's more of Land Rover first attempt at a mini crossover, styling wise the front nose is just so squashed MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

When I first heard there was going to be (as we thought) the Freelander 3 around March 2015 I said to my dealer when I got my Barollo Black Evoque - That is good as that is around the time I plan to change the Evoque. When I was in the dealer not so long ago I said to the DP that I was glad I didn't place the £1000 advance returnable deposit on a DS before it was officially shown as I would be asking for a refund & I also said that if someone had said to me 6 Months ago I would be buying a new Freelander I would have laughed but I'm glad I did!!

These discussions keep taking me back to the early 80's when Ford bought out the new Sierra and yet everyone wanted more Cortina. I had a Sierra as a company car and someone asked how I liked driving a Jelly Mould? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

To fair it is a great car, but coming down from the D4 was always going to be hard. The thing I miss the most is the SDV6 engine. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

In Australia all LR's come std with full size spare! No steel temporary but a full size equivalent of what is std on the vehicle. If I understand this right with the DS you have to choose between 7 seats and full size spare??? This has to be specified at build??? If this true it will be interesting to see how this goes down here as no other manufacturer has gotten away with this and In fact has always been a point of difference for LR's here!
