4500 miles on these so far and have been very very good, the level of grip is awesome on all but ice, where they do slide about as expected, although admittedly they were provoked into doing so.
One thing that is very noticeable is on a wet motorway they kick up a tremendous amount of spray and I imagine following is no fun.

A clever feature is the tread depth indicator, shown here, the number 8 just visible showing 8mm left and the snowflake will disappear below 4mm showing that winter use is compromised.

As per usual, simple ideas are always the best. Shame Conti summer tyres don't incorporate this tread depth remaining idea, maybe with a BBQ instead of a snowflake, second thoughts, an umbrella probably more apt... MY2010 TD4 HSE Santorini Black, 19" Alloys, Almond Leather, Lux Pack, Rear Spoiler, Adaptive Xenons

General Tire (owned by Continental) have a very similar thing in the tread to let uses know when you need replacement tyres. Only any good if you look though, not many do.

If we had any snow I might think about changing but up to now we have only had about 1mm last week and that lasted for all of an hour.
