mine was the opposite, it took me ages to free the filter from the canister, and I was wondering if it had ever been changed !!

When I changed the filter on my Golf diesel (which is the same type as the FL) the top came off without the filter element 'clicked' in place and remained in the housing so I just lifted it out. On closer inspection, the main dealer technician (read probable first year apprentice |
