Hi, I have a 209 Freelander 2, which doesn't want to lock or unlock properly..The door latch inside hardly moved when unlocking or locking....this happens to the front doors only at the moment..

Any help much appreciated....

if there is any movement at all when pressing the fob it means that it wont be the door modules malfunctioning so good news
if it doesn't react or move at all its probably the module that needs replacing-see ebay once you get the part number they are about £35

it will likely be an easy fix of just a sticking cable or misaligned cable or maybe the catch

take off the door panel by removing the screws and popping away from the plastic studs and investigate
a can of spray grease will assist. give everything that it metal a good spray and ensure that the cable is located in the handle catch correctly

hope its a simple fix - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement

If my wife ever sells my stuff for what I told her I paid for it, there will be some bargains out there!
