Indeed they hate all foreigners even more than they hate the other Swiss who come from a different village/speak a different language (and they do hatte them too!). And maybe so would we if we had to live on barren mountains with not much sun and no-one but cows and the occasional goat (see Heidi) for company!

All I know about the Swiss is that they don't like filtering motorcyclists! Last year they did their damnest to block us when we were filtering through heavy traffic. Oh, and my mate went into a hotel that we found on our Tom tom app, tried to book a room for the night and then found out it was an actual brothel. Boy, was his face red when he walked out of the 'hotel'. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Bought fuel at the Migros near the Lazy Rancho campsite at Interlaken and that in itself was a challenge. You have to pay by card and there is only one card machine for all pumps tucked away between a couple of pumps. It seemed to work OK once I had found it and I didn't end up paying for someone elses fuel. Price was much cheaper than Italy!
