France 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Narvik Black

Had a bit of fun getting my FL2 through the French version of the MOT. The tester's book told him there was another location for the VIN apart from under the rear seat. He spent ages looking for it before I produced the handbook which told him there wasn't one! Also had to show him where the rear seat VIN was. Interesting point on the French MOT (CT - Controle Technique) is that they check the "rippage"or tracking. If it is too far out you get a fail. The good news is that the CT is only every two years. John

Her Ladyship's tracking and her FL2's are spot on.
The dealer checked and did very minor adjustments on the latter in a pre MOT inspection, and, I checked her's the day before - not fault found.
