Yes, Alex - you may know it, I may know it, but some think it is an odd size! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Amazing! They suggest it is Castrol oils. Must be a pattern filter. Just priced it at £43.61. Half price MOTs too! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Suppose when you are ordering in bulk for oil and filters you can get massive discounts. I have used this service for a good few years now and am more than happy. Ooops forgot to mention if your Landy has a sump guard there is a small surcharge. |

The national Tyre price is £56 for a diesel 2.2 inclusive of oil and filter. They also have a 10% offer on at the moment.

Excellent thread. Just changed the oil and filter this week-end. Couldn't have done it without the 27mm ratchet hinged spanner. So thanks to all. |

Just changed the oil and filter on my 2.2 diesel Freelander 2. As many have said the oil filter is awkward task, however if you remove the electric cooling fans you can replace the filter from above very easily using a 27mm socket and ratchet.
