Hi Lads and Lasses; just joined after finding the answer on the forum to a niggling Freelander 2 problem. Glad to be here. |

You're doing exactly what I just did, Andrew - same switch, same cars, same time. Several thousand kilometers away, of course. 2 days with the car, loving it so far, but I perceive it as slower to start moving from stopped when compared to our old LR1 |

Just picked up a 2008 Freelander LR2 SE. 65,000 miles, nazca sand, NAV. Everything works! aux input buzz's, think i need to rewire the ground. Took her out in the gourge, in heavy rain, and mt hood snows. No problems. SO far i have installed a towbar. and hopefully tackling aftermarket trailer wiring tomorrow. should run me about 50 bucks. Also upgrading LED's throughout.

A great coincidence. I was apprehensive about saying goodbye to the F1 as it has been a great vehicle that has done everything asked of it and without the reliability issues that we hear so much about. I collected the F2 on Saturday and it's great!!! it feels like a huge step up from the F1. Agree it feels slower but think that is the effortless way it puuuullllssss! Build feels great too. |

Just a quick hello... I've just bought an '07 Freelander 2 GS in Zermatt Silver after 14 years of owning a Ford Puma. The Blue oval is no more... long live the Green oval!!!
