Hi Loler, its gods to see your high average , you are one of the luckier ones with a later model. I just wish that Landrover would make available to those of us with pre 2011 MY cars the siftware change to give us the better MPG.

Is everybody doing the calculations from mileage/filling up at the pump? I have found the on board computer to be a bit inaccurate, giving a high reading |

Chris - how do you go about claiming it back on the tax return? I presume you also use the car for personal use as well, What sort of allowances do they allow you on a vehicle of this type ? Do you put it as a capital expense? |

I always fill up the tank at every filling. Using the onboard computer can be as much as 7mpg out as it was on the

had the freelander 2 since 10 June and a trip of over 1000 miles around Kent and a trip to Portsmouth achieved 38.4 mpg mostly mway and a roads but happy with that |

It is no good quoting MPG if members forget to say which version and year or auto/manual their vehicle is. So I would suggest ignoring them entirely. Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner |

They have Only one hasn't if you go back three pages but then he has an SD4 so you know it's not a manual |
