My SD4 HSE with 5.5k miles returns about 32-33 mpg mixed driving.

Having moved from a GS TD4 manual to an XS SD4 auto it does appear to use more fuel around town but is better on motorways. Towing a 1600kg 'van is about the same.

Just filled up and checked mpg, 39mpg driving across the city and then on A roads every day. |

as i have mentioned before to get a true mpg the tank as to be filled to the brim then calculate mpg.

I always stop filling the tank at the first click then calculate mpg from there. Can this point vary from pump to pump? speed of pump? |

hi different pumps different speeds , I fill up at numerous pumps and always find from nozzle cut out to full up can vary from between 5 to 9 lts 57 reg GS leather seats panoramic sun roof

Same 77 mile journey twice today, first trip 37 MPG in Auto Mode, then 38 MPG for the return journey in Sport Mode.

28.5 Mpg mainly motorway work at high speed, td4auto dropped from 31.4 average once a new set of Avon rangers were fitted on all corners. |

Yesterday travelled Derby to Hererford and return. 5 up and loadspace full. Used A38 , A5, M42, and M5 to junc 7 then A roads.
