When I fitted mine a few years ago - I used a rubberised mastic stuff and sealed the ends myself to the best I could...

Hi Mike mine will be on its 3rd set when they arrive from Dan The main dealer even refused to replace them when I got the car as the extended warrenty did not cover them or the sat nav and a load of other stuff so it was a waste of money paying for it.LR must make a lot of money keep selling them. |

Worth noting that the MY 13 (and possibly earlier) now have a new design of wheel arch protector. There is now a round-section rubber sealing strip (like a door seal) on the top side. Don't know how much it helps - maybe it keeps some of the muck out and protects against corrosion. The panel is the same so the two should I think be interchangeable. When i replaced mine, put a dab of black hammerite on the exposed aluminium on either end of the strips. Should stop water getting in and the same happening again. Or at least slow the process down a bit.
