Yes, model year. It's because the model year is not necessarily the same as the year of registration. E.g. a 59-reg car may be a MY10 - it just makes it clearer exactly what is meant. |

Unfortunately my name is not Adam BP-Esso McShell. I only do about 5k miles a year and have acquired my FL2 after 11 torrid months of Jaguar X-Type diesel dreariness. I mostly make short journeys (4 miles) up and down big Pennine hills. I wanted petrol, I wanted 4WD and I wanted automatic... and so far (7 days later) I'm very happy with my choice. It shifts (for a tank), is very comfortable and ridiculously well specced.

Welcome. Colour coding would make a huge difference and make the car look so much better. Even if you just get some mirror caps.

Thanks, no idea really, my disco was an hse, I don't think I can stretch to that if I go down the dealer route. I have a Tom Tom so don't want/need sat nav, daughter is now able to eat without dropping much so leather not one of life's essentials !
