Heard couple of bad things about Tong as to the difficulty of the course re. taking a road vehicle and getting it into situations where it gets grounded in huge ruts, or wading over the limit of the vehicle. People who have Defenders etc. prepared with winches jacks etc. get stuck, so bit frightened. |

If you have a look at http://lroac.com/Calendar.html you'll see dates when it is possible to take your own car around the LR Experience site at Rockingham Castle in your own vehicle under the guidance of an LR Experience Instructor. |

£50 for a day? Bargain. Looks like i may have to have a go. Driven the FL2 auto around Skipton, but mine's a manual so would like to try it and test my driving skills. |

There's a youtube video of an FL2 in Tong Lake. Looks right on the limit to me....too close to an expensive drive. |

The current Defender is not allowed to be made after 2015 due to airbags or lack of them & possibly other bits too. The only market they will be made for I believe are places like the outbacks of Africa etc. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red. (Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red. (Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding. (Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather. |
