Sad she did it on purpose! ? what did you do ?? lol

Hmmm I wouldn't retaliate it could get messy, but a burning Censored on the door step is a good one lmao When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car

Well the story unfolded by me pulling into a parking bay and the was only one free bay next to me.
I walked over to buy a ticket and she pulled into the bay next to me and got out and was chatting on the phone and saying that people around here are crap at parking because I was over towards her side of my bay (but still in my bay) because of another car on the other side me was parked crooked and if I parked in centre of my bay I wouldn't be able to get out of my car.
I just ignored her but she kept on going on and on to someone on phone about my parking, so I know it was her.

Anyway I work in a tv station and we have a gizzillion security cameras around the area so she is bound to be on one camera doing it, so when i see her tomorrow i will tell her to pay for the repair or I will hand the footage over to the cops and let them deal with it.

not a very good plan if he doesn't have any proof Rolling Eyes

For all he knows is the keying could have happened anywhere over that weekend or so, but because the lady was been vocal about his bad parking, he has gone all Sherlock Holmes and concluded that she must have done it, maybe even looking due to bad parking, if she had done anything.

With out the required proof he shouldn't be accusing anyone yet

Hopefully the damage will have been caught and she can be done for it

Years ago I dropped my toddler off at nursery (i was in an original Panda 4x4!) and noticed a sign written Volvo estate parked opposite. When I came out, the bumper and headlight on my Panda were fairly crushed etc.

Next day I challenged said 'Lady' and told her that another person had witnessed her hitting my car, she got very flustered, said she'd felt something but hadn't realised she'd done any damage and would of course pay for all damage she'd done.

It was worth the bluff, as hers was the only car that had moved in that 2 minute gap. I hit her where she felt it most - in the wallet!!

(our kids still go to the same school, never been invited for tea though) Rolling with laughter

Thats the best way to deal with these type of people, if I scratch her car back it makes me the same as her.

I will check to security vision when I get to work this morning and get proof that it was her.

Success!

I confronted the woman yesterday and she was in total denial until I produced a printout from the security camera of her in action.

After that she was very apologetic and offered to pay for the repairs.

Beautiful!

As a fellow FL2-driving member of the press, my congrats. Mr. Green

For what it's worth, Land Cruiser drivers seem to be in some state of delirium when it comes to Land Rovers. I literally had an elected official in my area who drives a Land Cruiser, unsolicited, challenge me about my vehicle's off-road prowess recently. My response: "It's a Land Rover," pretty much quieted him down. Thumbs Up CAR HISTORY
