it used to be the case that the basic model the "S" didn't have terrain response, but its over 3.5 years ago when i bought mine so could have changed since. |

It wasn't standard on S models but having just had a look at the LR website it appears for 2013MY vehicles it is included on all 4wd vehicles. |

Regarding reliability, in my opinion it really is luck of the draw with any manufacturer.

Thanks for again, Aero. I figured it was as much. Having had a browse around this forum for an hour or two, it does indeed shed more light on the reliability concerns I seen elsewhere. Given Land Rover have been doing this model of car for well over 5 years now, you'd expect them to have nailed it by now. |

I have seen it written somewhere (I think it was the LRO) that the freelander 2 has been the most reliable land rover car. |

my local LR dealer has said a couple times that the FL2 is the most reliable in their fleet. and that was after i had bought mine so it probably an honest statement coz you would expect them to try and talk me up to a disco or RR.

Perhaps the Freelander forum should take the pi## out of the Range Rover then? |

lol, the worst seem to be the defender drivers on landyzone, but i think they are mainly getting at FL1 owners. |
