United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Barolo Black
newbie saying hello

Hi to everyone, just thought i'd drop a few lines as i am new to this forum. Just got back in to the freelander range after owning a freelander 1 6/7 yrs ago, then kids came along so it went and renault scenic came Whistle Wife has just decided she fancies a freelander again so just bought a f2 privately on a 2007, 120k fsh Big Cry Im hoping it remains reliable and turns out to be a great car, just checking it over at the moment so be prepared for loads of stupid questions from me.The hope is that the car doesn't create a vast hole in my already empty coffers, any tips and advice are always welcome will try to get some pics of the motor up asap.
cheers peter

Welcome back Sir Thumbs Up
Unfortunately, it seems to be the view of many that LandRover owners need deep pockets Big Cry
Mine has cost me a few quid, but no more than owning any other Premium brand so I don't winge about it.

Hope you enjoy your FL2; Freelander 1 is no comparison. I wouldn't touch one with a bargepole Rolling with laughter

Look forward to seeing some of your posts Thumbs Up there are lots of forum members to help you, but make sure you read the manual first or face banter type ridicule Rolling with laughter Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Welcome! And this comes from a happy (thus far full pocketed) FL2 owner!

And likewise to many, I would not touch a Freelander 1 with a 10 foot pole!

For what it's worth, there are a lot of people on this side of the pond pining for a Renault Scenic or - even moreso - a Megane. Mr. Green Mr. Green CAR HISTORY
