Australia 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Fuji White
Looking for an SE MY12

Have already decided that I will purchase an SE. I have researched this decision to death. The real question is when!

I know that there are 2 sales per year, but the "end of financial year" sale did not include the SE.

My memory (from 2011) was that in December all demonstrators and '11 plated cars had the dealer and on-road costs covered, (which was about a 5K saving) Assuming this happens again, does anyone know if a car ORDERED in Dec will get the ORC covered. I know it will take 3-4 months for delivery, but I hope it's what's on the compliance plate that counts because there isn't a lot of stock around at the moment.

Scotland 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Hello folks,

Had my first Land Rover for just over a week now. Freelander 2, HSE 2007 but with VERY low (checked) mileage. I moved from a Toyota Rav 4 to a Renault Scenic for kids seats in the back and I instantly regretted it. Missed the height, the full leather and the pull. Managed to stick with 'Pishy' (for it was) for 18 mths until a trip from Fife to Wales convinced me enough was enough.

To say I'm loving the FL2 is an understatement. Came on here primarily for help fitting some side steps and now want a spoiler so thanks for that!

Anyway, hello.

M HSE, td4 - Stornoway Grey - full alpaca interior - 2011 front facelift - privacy glass.
Just added side steps, replaced the yellow side lights & body coloured handle and wing mirror covers. Now for the spoiler!

Hi Rob, welcome to the Forum for some good advice and banter that teeters on the edge sometimes Laughing

You can upload into your own gallery, once logged in go to 'Gallery' at top of page then 'Upload photos', from then on follow prompts, it also pays to downsize them from the original large camera file before uploading. It can confuse first time and you can sort at a later date, also ask again if you get stuck Thumbs Up

EDIT: FAQ has some info to help you.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver
Saying hello

Hi everyone,

Just registered after being on Disco3 site for last 6 years.
Agreed the deal today on a 2009 egs, discovery 3 is getting traded in.

Really liked the disco, no real problems until last year an a half where i have replaced compressor and hand brake actuator.

Hopefully picking up tne freelander2 next weekend if dealer manages to get plate transfer done from my disco.
Looking forward to it, hopefully will be a bit less thirsty than the disco.

Hi all, I've been disco3 owner for over 6 years and found that site very helpful. Last April daughter bought a new td4 gs (her first Landy) and is now keeping the grin off her face just long enough to ask serious questions, so to make sure I give her a correct answer I may have to take advice from you seasoned owners Bow down Whistle . So thanks in advance for any help given.

2013 Freelander 2 i6 SE Auto Galway Green
Hi !!

Hi gentlemen, I've just ordered a new Freelander 2 2013, and impaciently waiting for it (I don't know if that's even a word, anyway)

I think I've spent the last one and a half months trying to decide if buying this new car would be the right choice. Previously I owned a second-hand 2003 Freelander and that one was one problem after the other, so basically I was almost 2 years spending half of my salary in repairs.

So now, my doubts were about if reliability was still the same or this point has improved over the years, I hope it has improved !!

Any welcome message around this reliability doubts will be very appreciated.

Thanks!!
Smile Smile

Welcome to the forum.
If you you were able to put up with the original Freelander, you should be fine with the new one, Chalk and Cheese. Thumbs Up
