Welcome to the forum Neil. Here is your first good info: You have an 08 SE (exactly as mine), a well specced model in a great colour. I can assure you it is Rimini Red, not Firenze! Firenze is used on later 2011 on(?) models only.

My FL2 2009 20,000 mls. has a viberation problem. I can feel the engine running via the seats. The dealership have changed the torque converter and rear disc plates but are now stumped. This viberation started at about 15,000 mls. It is driving me nuts the ride is awful. Land Rover sent a chap on this week to test drive it. Yes he said you can feel the engine viberating through seats its a characteristic of this vehicle. This vehicle is designed to go up the side of a mountain and on the road so it is a compromise in ride quality.

Don't know which FL2 to buy.

hi (again*) all.

I originally joined the forum last november/ december and ended up buying a Mercedes Benz in January, for many reasons. Situation has changed somewhat, so now revisiting the forum (*had to re-register under a new name as forgot previous details) because i'm reconsidering buying an FL2.

Any helpful suggestions, hints, advice and tips will be gratefully received.

So it's a hello from me.....

Evening folks,

Newbie here, but lurked for bit to get a feel for the vehicle before doing the deed! Now the proud owner of a 2009 HSE diesel Auto, and feeling right at home cos it`s already broken, after 50 miles....water peeing out of the centre console, and fog like a smoke machine at a rock concert out of the air vents....guessing the A/C is unwell?

But apart from that, loving it!

Hello!

Hi.

I'm a Freelander 2 owner for almost a year and love it. Have also had the FL1, Disco Mk2, Defender 110 and 90 in the past. Just love Landy's!

Looking forward to being part of the forum.

John
